The Custom Curtain Design Company is recognized for its keen understanding of each client, and for creating beautiful and functional window treatments. The company was established in 2000 in Monmouth County, New Jersey, and works with residential and commercial clients. In addition to window treatments, the firm offers custom cushions, bedding, pillows, table skirts, blind and shades. With degrees in fashion design and psychology, art school and the Professional Drapery School in North Carolina, Principal Michelle Christian is an expert in design, customized color palettes -- and human relations.

Michelle has been in the design and custom window treatment industry since 1992. She was a creative designer, making larger-than-life three-dimensional displays for shopping malls across the country. Michelle’s talents in balance and scale were carefully crafted. Designing window treatments in resorts, country clubs and restaurants broadened her technical knowledge in commercial work and mass production. Several of Michelle’s designs have been published in Design NJ and House Beautiful magazine. She has refined her work with residential clients, personalizing the details of every project and building long-lasting relationships.
